On the road again

Hello, friends!

In case you (like me) didn't know where Santiago was

I write to you once again from the terminal of an airport. The adventure continues! I haven't written since this past summer, so just know, the summer ended well, it was a happy homecoming when I returned, and the past semester was a whirlwind of learning, growing, and getting ready foooooor...... studying abroad in the spring semester in Santiago, Chile! WOO!

I have everything packed and ready to go, and I'm excited (if a little nervous) to touch down in Santiago - and start four months of speaking mainly Spanish. Eep. I'm staying with a host family down there, and attending Universidad Andres Bello. I'm hoping to get really good at Spanish while I'm away, and I'm hoping to do some good traveling while I'm there. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'm hoping to connect with churches or missionaries down there and see something about what that's like, too.

This is pretty much it for now! I'm starting the blog back up while I'm abroad, so expect updates and lots and lots of pictures! Keep me in your prayers!
